Our name

The name “Yeschurch” is filled with meaning. It is purposefully different. It speaks to the positive nature of our calling; that we define ourselves by what we are, not by what we’re not. It means that God is also saying yes to us. Each one of us has a yes story from God. Collectively, this story is world changing. We are determined to live our lives pursuing the future that God has promised us, one full of hope and blessing. We are called to reach a world that is in a state of confusion and decay. It is not our job to condemn and convict; that is the job of the Holy Spirit. Even Jesus didnt come into the world to condemn (John 3:17 ). Our job is to speak of the wonderful things God has done for us and bring others to Jesus.

Too often the church has been all no’s. Our message to the world has to be Yes, yes there is hope, there is peace, there is life eternal, and there is freedom. The name Yeschurch will cause people to wonder, cause them to question, and eventually help them to say yes to Jesus.

Our mission

We are called to be:
Evangelistically Potent- We are called to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Prophetically Relevant- We speak to the moral issues of the day with truth and clarity.
Socially Significant- We serve our generation’s needs to bring hope and healing to those in need, that they might find Jesus. Alive in the Spirit- We bring the power and influence of the Holy Spirit into people’s lives to bring freedom and restoration.

Our vision

The vision of Yeschurch is to be a church that cannot be ignored.

As a people, we are determined to wear God well so that our impact in this generation will be immense. The vision is for a church that worships passionately, develops leaders not followers, and speaks in a language the world understands with such a clear message that peoples lives are forever changed. It is to be a church that is led by the Holy Spirit so that each member reaches their destiny in God. We see a church that is always growing, always in motion, always expressing the joy of the Lord, and one that is a safe place for God to bless because it exists to be a blessing.

“Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See darkness is over the people’s, but the Lord rises upon you and His glory appears over you… Then you will look and be radiant, (wear God well) your heart will throb and swell with joy…” Isaiah 60:1,2,5
