Easter
As we celebrate this Easter season, it’s a very different time not only in the history of our nation, but also the history of our world.
Yet especially with all that is happening we need to focus on Easter and what it means to each of us.
At Christmas we celebrate the birth of the most important person to ever walk the face of this earth, Jesus Christ. God Himself coming to this earth which He created, to live among the very people He created. At Easter we see Him complete the task He came for, to set us free from the bondage of sin. To open the door for each of us to have a personal relationship with our Creator.
We live our lives bound in time, each of us with a set number of days on this earth. But because of Jesus we can step outside of the frame of time and look forward to living for eternity in Heaven with Him. From the moment we receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour we begin a life that will last forever.
No matter what we face in our world we can be certain that the Lord is with us today and forever. With a future like this we have no reason to fear because we can trust in Jesus.
Easter, a time to celebrate our Saviour and share the greatest news ever with others.
Matthew 16:13-16
13When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Our richest Blessings to all at Easter.
